Did the Hop On, Hop Off in Miami today because I really wanted to see the Art Deco buildings for myself. Wonderful trip. There is a lot of Art Deco architecture throughout the city but the strip on the island is best known for its splashy hotels. It is a huge area that took us quite a while to drive along. One of my favourites was the Lorraine Hotel which you’ll find on my blog. Some of them are well kept and some are being re-done but all are worthy of note. Here are some of the ones I was able to get some decent pictures of today from the top of the double decker bus.
