Another good day on the road. Decent breakfast included at the La Quinta Inn, Savannah. Decided to go to Walmart to pick up a few things and on the way noticed that the engine light was on. So I used the Walmart Wifi and found the Hyundai dealership (very close to my hotel) and stopped in. Adam, the service manager was swamped and being a Saturday it was an early closing but he said he’d have a scan done to see if they could identify the problem. Dan conducted the scan and confirmed that it wasn’t anything serious — possibly connected to a different gas used yesterday. So I was able to start out with peace of mind thanks to Adam and Dan.
The rest of the drive was pretty straightforward. Despite the late start, I got to St. Augustine at a decent time. The Inn is not at all what I expected for the price and being a Saturday, the traffic was pretty heavy all through the historic district and it took a long time to find a place to park so I could explore. I did get lots of photos but I’m having trouble uploading them tonight. Will post this anyway with the few I,ve managed to include and either add photos to tomorrow’s post or to this one. Tomorrow: the Kennedy Space Centre and Vero Beach.

🤗😏🙂🙃🙂 Trying hard not to gloat!! Wonderful time at NASA today. Can’t wait to settle in and write about it.
You are a brave independent lady! I would have freaked out at the engine light. Glad you saw St Augustine under decent skies. The highway south will be very busy today too. Wave to Daytona Beach on the way by…that is where we stayed Judy

Glad it’s going well. It certainly looks a lot warmer than here!
It’s very warm. Didn’t like to gloat in my post. So enjoying driving with the windows down and the sun roof open. Thanks for keeping tabs.
