Three States in One Day!

I take back everything I implied about the roads in Oklahoma; what a nightmare in Indianapolis!!  I’m about an hour and a half later than expected in my Super 8 Motel Room.  I punched in Indianapolis instead of Greenfield, thinking like in Ottawa, you call the suburb Kanata, but Ottawa gets you there!  Here it doesn’t! and with all the detours from closed exits coming into and going through the city.  I drove in circles, I’m positive, for at least half an hour, then drove through more construction before finding the right place!  At last!  I think I’ll be having a good soak in the tub later!

I started the day in Missouri, drove through parts of Illinois, and now Indiana.  Nice to see the green forests in the Ozarks coming through.  A bit of a gray sky but good for driving.  Lost an hour today so now I’m on home time and won’t have any more time changes for the rest of my trip.  No pictures today.  Tomorrow — Pennsylvania, where I can actually unpack as I’m spending two nights.  A shorter drive tomorrow.

Ms. M. on the road in Indiana!

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
