Today’s the Day!

Last night I ended up publishing my blog entry from a McDonalds as I nursed a couple of cookies and a glass of water.  Got the wash done this morning and found a rather decent little downtown with a Starbucks where I’m writing this now.  Forgot to mention yesterday that in the morning at precisely 11:31, my car’s odometer rolled over to 180 000 km!  Wow!

This was Durango this morning from in front of my motel!  Since then, the sun has come out, the skies have cleared and the whole community, I think, is down town.  More rain to come later today both here and in Crow Canyon.  Shouldn’t take as much as 2 hours to get there and I don’t know if I’ll stop along the way or not.  Will write later!  Ms. M, on the road!

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.

I am glad that you have arrived safely Lorraine. You have been on my mind. I am also glad you are going to be more careful when you pick out a place to stay overnight. To feel safe & secure is a very important part of your trip!!! Looking forward to hearing all about the “digs” & the people that you meet as you share a common adventure. Love, Gloria
