Made It!

Well, I’m here at Crow Canyon Archaeological Centre in southwestern Colorado.  It is a gorgeous day out and people have been showing up all afternoon.  I have a hogan to myself and have been orienting myself to the campus.  Passed the Indian Camp Ranch on the way in where we will be doing our dig.  We have a mingle outside at 5 p.m.  And afterwards we have our first orientation session with Dr. Susan Ryan.  Here is a picture of the view of the front of the campus.IMG_1040[1]

It’s almost time for the mingle so I’ll head off now and check in later.

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
