On The Road

For the first time in many years I was up early and on schedule setting out on a trip.  I actually woke about 5 a.m. and was ready for the alarm.  By 8 a.m. I had done everything I had planned to do and had the tank full and was on the road.  It was an excellent day!  Very little traffic, great music (I went through my car CDs last week and replaced some I hardly ever use with some I like better), and I made it to Dad’s before 3 p.m.  I did my usual stop at the plaza at the 401 & Brock Rd. before heading up to the 407 Xpress route.  I love using it.  It’s well worth what they charge to be away from the traffic on the 401.

Everyone here at Dad’s is glad to see me and almost as excited as I am about my trip.  Update on the keyboard case for the iPad.  The seller who missed delivery before I left said no problem; I’m not there to take delivery so it will be returned and my payment refunded.  I’m a bit disappointed because that was the case I really wanted.  However, Amazon is sending one to me here at Dad’s tomorrow via UPS before the end of the day.  It sounds like it will do fine and it rotates 360* and the Apple symbol on the back of the iPad shows through the swivel mount.  Looking forward to getting it.

Well, Dad and I are off to dinner shortly, so I’ll sign off for now.  Friday I’m back on the road to Windsor!

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
