Down to the Wire 2!

Well, I’ve been planning this trip for about 6 months now SWSTaccessoriesand it’s almost time to go.  No way this is a rush job.  Took another load of electronic recycle to Future Shop yesterday from the garage.  Sorted things around in there this morning before my walk.  It’s getting there but still has a long way to go before I can get the car into it.  Finally wrote my ID information on the card in my new wallet.  Wallet, purse, and watch are in southwestern theme.

Lots of last minute things to do — the laundry, a good scrub-down for Budge’s cage and toys, copies of all my ID and credit cards in case of theft or loss, putting away summer things that aren’t going with me (it will be almost Thanksgiving when I get back!) are on the list for today.  Tomorrow:  breakfast with a friend to celebrate the 1st day of school (and neither of us has to go!), phone to check on my travel insurance, list of things to pick up for the cooler (cheese, cauliflower, small pop, grapes), packing things from the wash.  Forgot to buy honey treats for Budge so will have to do that tomorrow as well.   Have to do things right when I think of them or I’m afraid I’ll forget.  Can’t afford to forget anything.  Made a list of all the places I’m staying and their phone numbers to leave with my brother and my best friend.  Hoping my ipad keyboard comes on Tuesday as it didn’t come Friday.  Still have to keep walking each day to keep fit.  There are 4 stops on the way home I haven’t booked but I’ll do them along the way.  Will start loading the car tomorrow night — sleeping bag, dig stuff, art bag — so there’s less to do in the morning.  **  Try to stay calm! **  Can’t wait to get on the road!

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
