We’re Havin’ a Heat Wave, a Tropical Heat Wave!

We certainly are havin’ a heat wave.  For a week now, the Toronto area right through to Ottawa and on into Quebec, have had temperatures over 30°C and over 45°C with the humidity.  Warnings for seniors, and children and charges being laid against people leaving children or pets in cars even when it’s running with the air conditioning going.  If you’re healthy and like saunas, it’s great, but a day spent indoors in air conditioning is the best prescription.  A slow, easy day, catching up on reading and the latest news from siblings.  Reading The Kingmaker’s Daughter by Philippa Gregory, the latest in the Cousins’ War.  Review coming soon!  Mys M. on the road!
