The Wright Kind of Farewell!

Tonight the staff at school held a lovely retirement party for my colleague and myself.  People were invited and there was a wonderful spread of food with punch.  There was a good turn out and the mood was festive.  A beautiful cake in both official languages was the piece de resistance.  Speeches were made and wonderful gifts given.  I have an amazing woven throw patterned after the Frank Lloyd Wright designs, Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers.  It is absolutely gorgeous and I was sincerely touched by the thoughtfulness of it.  Also, there was a very nice gift card for Chapters/Indigo which I will put to good use to continue my research about travels and digs for future adventures on the road.

About mysm2000

Having taught elementary school for more than 25 years and been involved in many amazing technology and curriculum projects, I find I've developed a myriad of interests based on literature I've read and music I've heard. I've followed The Wright Three to Chicago, Ansel Adams to Colorado, The Kon Tiki Expedition to Easter Island, Simon & Garfunkel lyrics to New York City, Frank Lloyd Wright to Fallingwater, Pennsylvania, and have only just begun.
